How To Fit Your Angled Hanging Rail
Measure Your Space
Measure the length of the slope - our brackets fit back to back so sizes can be combined to fit your space. In a wardrobe or alcove - allow room for the top bracket.
Plan Your Sizes
Zebedee sizes are back of bracket to back of bracket. For perfect support, fit Zebedee direct to a wooden beam, wardrobe top or wooden support.
Fit to the Angle
Fit bottom bracket first and use the rail as a template to position the top bracket. Make sure that the angled side of the bracket is facing towards the rail.
Enjoy!
That's it. Full-length hanging space where there was none before.

Common Fitting Questions
Yes — most customers install Zebedee without any trade help. Depending on your ceiling type, you can fix directly to a beam or ceiling, or use a lath to share the load across the surface — similar to fitting a curtain track. If you're not confident, a handyman can install it in under 30 minutes.
Yes either secure well with plasterboard fixings, or surface mount a wooden lath as above
Our sloped ceiling clothes rail can work with virtually any angle - from the shallowest loft eave to the steepest under-stair slope. The spring coil self-adjusts to follow the exact angle of your ceiling without modification.
Use our sizing guide - measure the length of your slope and match it to the nearest size. If you're fitting into an alcove or wardrobe, size down: the bracket protrudes approximately 10cm toward the side wall, so you'll need that clearance. If you're still unsure, call us before you order.

One option is to fit a baton to the ceiling first, (a bit like fitting a curtain rail) either straight into the beam behind the plaster board, or by using plaster board plugs every 10″ or so to share the weight. The Zebedee Rails can then be fitted straight to that very simply!

Bridge two loft beams with a wider, decorative piece of wood, like fitting a wardrobe top, and then you can centralise the fitting of your Zebedee’s.

Or, Easily top fix into any sloping wardrobe! Then sit back and enjoy your beautifully organised, fully utilised space!
